ART GALLERY BOOKING INFORMATION

AN EXCITING NEW RETAIL ART GALLERY, LOCATED IN SOUTH FREMANTLE

Are you looking for a creative and versatile space for your special event? Our newly renovated, bright and spacious art gallery space in the heart of South Fremantle is now available to rent for artists, designers and creative minds to connect, inspire and exhibit.

Artists get to keep 100% of their sales but must hang, curate and promote their own exhibition. Ideal for solo or group exhibitions for established or emerging artists.

  • The gallery space is approximately 100sqm. 

    $1,000 / 1 week (+GST)

    50% DEPOSIT
    Required at time of booking

    BALANCE PAYABLE
    7 days prior to opening

    NB There is also a $75 cleaning fee

    The art gallery is also available to hire by the hour. $100 p/h (+GST)

    2 hour minimum

  • BUMP IN TIME
    Monday between 9.00am - 4pm.
    (The gallery is cleaned early Monday morning ready for the hire.)

    BUMP OUT TIME
    Sunday 2-4pm.   
    All artists’ work and support material must be removed by then. Please note there are no storage facilities available on site.  Please ensure you leave the art gallery space clean and tidy.

    OPENING NIGHT

    Artists are entitled to ONE opening night of their choice between the hours of 5-8pm. The venue can hold up to 100 people. Artists are responsible for organising their own drinks and nibbles for their opening. And for washing the glasses and table cloths afterwards.

    SALES

    Artists are responsible for all their own sales while they are hiring the gallery. The Terrace Greenhouse staff are not responsible for the sales.

    Artists are also responsible for supplying their own leaflets and posters advertising their exhibition and for promoting it on their social media channels.

    Leaflets A6 postcard (105x148mm) or DL flyer (99x210mm.)

    2 x laminated A1 posters (594 x 841mm.)

    We do not have any space for storage in the gallery.

    Artists are welcome and encouraged to run special events during open hours 9am-4pm, such as talks, day time openings and demonstrations. Please let us know of any events prior to hanging so we can promote them. It is recommended that artists are available to meet and greet visitors while their exhibition is showing at the gallery. The shop and gallery are open 9-4 every day.

    The large jarrah cupboards in the gallery are not to be removed during the exhibition.

    SECONDARY EVENTS

    The art gallery will sometimes hold a secondary event such as a seated music concert or book launch. It’s great way to showcase your art to a wider audience. You will receive complimentary tickets to the event and if you wish you can introduce yourself and talk about your art.

    • 6 plinths - various sizes

    • 4 x trestle tables with matching blue table cloths

    • 100 x wine glasses

    • 100 x champagne glasses

    • 4 x plastic ice buckets

    • Cups & saucers

    • Urn

    • 2 x A-frame generic sign for placement on South Terrace/ King William Street

    • Monitored alarm system

    • Promotion on the Terrace Greenhouse website, Instagram and Facebook profiles.

    • Please ensure you wash all the glasses and return them to the boxes in the jarrah cupboards.

    • Clean-up after your Opening night.

      NB: The Terrace Greenhouse Art Gallery backs onto a residential area so please ensure your opening night is over by 8pm.

  • Cleaning fee $75.00

    The art gallery, toilets and kitchen are cleaned prior to your booking. It is not cleaned after your opening night & is your responsibility.

    100 chairs are available for hire @ $1.25 per chair

OPTIONAL EXTRA

Black Cockatoo Distillery are available for pop-up gin tastings for opening nights.
