ELEMENTAL 2.0
As a visual artist based in Perth , my art explores the intersection of abstract and semi-abstract forms through an expressive language of colour, texture and bold linear gestures.
Following on my previous exhibition titled Elemental which was held at Moores Building Art Space (MBAS) Fremantle in 2025 - this exhibition Elemental 2.0 is a new body of work that further explores my deep connection with the natural world.
While the theme centres on landscapes and elementalforces, these paintings ultimately reflect an internal journey - an exploration of how these environments resonate within me. The works express a spectrum of emotional responses : awe and wonder, nostalgia and longing, calm and contentment, and at times, a sense of being overwhelmed by the vastness and power of nature.
My creative process is spontaneous and intuitive, evolving without fixed reference or preconceived composition. Each piece merges organically, shaped by memory, imagination, locations, i seek to convey the essence of experience - how a landscape feels, rather than how it looks.
My work does not present a singular narrative but a continuing dialogue between the external world, my inner landscape and the act of painting itself. Through expressive mark-making and dynamic use of colours, textures and shapes, I invite viewers into this conversation - to engage not just with the image but with their own emotional responses to natural environment and elements.
