Hello everyone 

                      My name is  Shirley and I love to paint.I have been painting approximately six years. Have had lessons firstly at Fremantle Art Centre, then at the Freedom School with David Giles. Just loved those days, met so many lovely people.

                   My painting practice has grown and gradually changed over time. For a long time I could not understand the beauty and freedom of abstract art.I always needed to see a purpose.Over the last year or two  I  have found a different way and now love the wonderful freedom of creating a work that speaks to me of colour, shape, texture and fun! COLLISION was born.A collision between. staying within the boundaries and letting LOOSE, to enjoy freedom and surprise. I hope you have some of these feelings when looking at my work. Enjoy!
