Impression meets Contemporary

Featuring the works of self taught artists Pia Reynolds and Vasily Kulchenko. Pia works primarily with acrylic paints on wooden surfaces and is known for her vibrant depictions of everyday subjects. Pia enjoys capturing scenes which highlight the beauty of Australia and loves to use bright colours to bring a sense of life and energy to each piece.

Vasily’s style is a mixture of traditional impressionist techniques and modern vibrancy. He works with oils on canvas and wood panels to capture the atmosphere of his subject, through light, colour and form. His works aim to evoke emotion, memory and a sense of presence reminding us of the beauty found in fleeting moments.
